Modi congratulates Trump on reelection
New Delhi: 6 Nov. 2024: As news emerged that Republican candidate Donald Trump has won the US Presidential electi9ns, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Trump on his electoral victory.
“Heartiest congratulations my friend Donald J. Trump on your historic election victory. As you build on the successes of your previous term,” Modi wrote on his social media accounts. ” I look forward to renewing our collaboration to further strengthen the India-US Comprehensive Global and Strategic Partnership. Together, let’s work for the betterment of our people and to promote global peace, stability and prosperity.”
Along with the wishes Modi also posted some pictures of his meetings with Trump under his previous presidency.
