Article 370 Scrapped but not the ‘Islamisation’ of Kashmir issue: Indians need to revive Kashmirityat

Now that the Article 370 has been abrogated, the Islamisation of the Kashmir issue will turn grimmer. More and more Islamo-supremacist, pan-Islamist political organisations and the self-styled social and welfare movements will join the ranks of JIJ&K. However, the chief lesson that Muslims in India particularly need to learn from all this is that they must not heed the ‘Islamisation’ of the conflict zones in the world, including in Kashmir.

Case for separate Ladakh and rethinking India-China relations

The Union Territory (UT) status for Ladakh is a masterstroke in India’s long-term home and foreign policy. A counter strategy that India should be thinking now is to offer China an alternative transport, energy, trade and communication corridor originating from a port in Gujarat running across Northern India to connect Kashgar through Indus valley in Ladakh.

Beautiful and Disputed Kashmir

The concept of autonomy was accepted universally at the beginning of the 20th century; however it does not correspond or respond to the current ideas about political nations or equality. If the doing away of Kashmir’s autonomy pans out well, then it would behove Russia and China to take note of it.
