Indian leader pledged that, as the largest vaccine producing nation in the world, India would use its capacity to help all humanity in fighting the crisis.

In a pre-recorded speech Ghani said the Afghan government had demonstrated the “commitment, compassion, and courage” to make hard decisions to hold direct peace talks with the Taliban but said this wouldn’t be enough.
The President denounced the “rampant corruption and interference” that had harmed his country’s national sovereignty. Such acts would also impede Iraq’s efforts to combat terrorism and extremism.
Mr. Tokayev described a “critical collapse of global cooperation” in response to the crisis, as well as a lack of mutual confidence, a misunderstanding of international competition, trade wars, and sanctions which, he said, are undermining the prospects and hopes for a better world.
During his current address the Uzbek President has proposed a new strategic format of international cooperation on Afghanistan – the creation of a Permanent Committee (PC) at the UN (PCUN).
