The Ministry of Finance’s plan to ease the curbs followed requests from other government departments that face shortages and project delays due to the 2020 restrictions, the sources said.
Under the RIC framework, the foreign ministers of the three countries meet periodically to discuss bilateral, regional and international issues of their interest.
“We expect the Chinese sides will sincerely work with us for complete disengagement and de-escalation and full restoration of peace and tranquility in the border areas,” MEA spokesperson Anurag Srivasta said.
