Israel Attacks Iran
Iran has closed its airspaces after Israel launched “pre-emptive” strikes on Tehran, according to Iran’s Mehr News Agency, around 12 noon IST..
The spokesperson for the Iran Civil Aviation Organization announced that, based on the issued NOTAM, the entire airspace of the country of Iran has been closed until further notice, the agency reported
The strikes come just hours after Oman’s Foreign Minister says most recent indirect talks between US, Iran had ‘really advanced, substantially’ and diplomacy must be allowed do its work.
Israeli media reported that the strikes were a joint Israeli-American operation.
US President Donald Trump says the US has started a “major combat operations” in Iran, Reuters reports.
