India Launches Operation Sindoor: Kry Terrorist Infrastructure Targetted
Altogether, nine (9) sites have been targeted.

New Delhi: 07 May 2025: In the wee hours of Wednesday, the Indian Armed Forces launched ‘Operation Sindoor’, hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed.
As part of Operation Sindoor, the Indian Armed Forces carried out precise strikes on key terrorist infrastructure linked to the banned organizations Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), and Hizbul Mujahideen (HM). A total of nine targets were hit across both Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoJK).
The sequence of strikes reflects the scale and precision of the operation:
1. Sawai Nala Camp, Muzaffarabad
2. Syedna Bilal Camp, Muzaffarabad
3. Gulpur Camp, Kotli
4. Barnala Camp, Bhimber
5. Abbas Camp, Kotli
6. Sarjal Camp, Sialkot
7. Mehmoona Joya Camp, Sialkot
8. Markaz Taiba, Muridke (LeT facility)
9. Markaz Subhanallah, Bahawalpur (linked to JeM).
Altogether, nine (9) sites have been targeted.
The actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature. No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. India has demonstrated considerable restraint in selection of targets and method of execution.
These steps come in the wake of the barbaric Pahalgam terrorist attack in which 25 Indians and one Nepali citizen were murdered. We are living up to the commitment that those responsible for this attack will be held accountable.
Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif accused Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi of launching the strikes to “shore up” his domestic popularity, adding that Islamabad “won’t take long to settle the score”.
Islamabad pledged to respond “at a time, place and manner of its choosing to avenge the loss of innocent Pakistani lives and blatant violation of its sovereignty”, while a government security committee rejected Indian allegations of the presence of terrorist camps on its territory.
There will be detailed briefing on ‘Operation Sindoor’, later today.
