39th India International Trade Fair kicks off

The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is the partner country, while the Republic of Korea is the focus country.

The India International Trade Fair 2019 kicked off today at Pragati Maidan, in Indian capital New Delhi. The business days will go on till November 18th, and it will be thrown open to the general public from  19 to November 27th.

The theme of this year’s trade fair is “Ease of Doing Business’ since India moved up 63 in the list of countries that have improved its ease of doing business on the World Bank’s index.

This is the 39th edition of the trade fair.

The fair was inaugurated by Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport & Highways of India and Shipping Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the Government of India.

Countries such as UK, Iran, South Korea, Australia, Bhutan, China are participatin in it.

In the domestic segment the  the states of Bihar and Jharkhand are the Focus States at the fair.
