Tajikistan deepens ties with Istanbul as foreign ministers meet

During the talks, a wide range lof issues related to the current state, bilateral and multilateral relations and prospects for cooperation were discussed.
The Foreign Ministers signed a Memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey in the field of archives.
Following the negotiations, the Foreign Ministers of the two countries addressed a press conference.
This visit is expected to significantly boost ties between the two countries. Like most Central Asian states Tajikistan looks to Turkey as a model Muslim state to emulate.
