G20 Summit Declaration Adopted

New Delhi: Nov. 19, 2024: The G20 Leaders’ Final Declaration has been adopted on the second day of the summit being held in Rio de Janeiro. It includes social inclusion, sustainable development, and global governance at the center of assumed commitments!
The heads of States of the world’s 19 largest economies, along with representatives of the African Union and the European Union, gathered on November 18 in Rio de Janeiro, the birthplace of the Sustainable Development Agenda. They reaffirmed their engagement to building a just world and a sustainable planet, while leaving no one behind.
The Final Declaration addressed major challenges, such as:
• social inclusion;
• the fight against hunger and poverty;
• sustainable development, energy transitions and climate action;
• reform of Global Governance Institutions.
The G20 Leaders also highlighted a collective responsibility regarding the world’s economy in order to foster the conditions for sustainable, resilient and inclusive growth.
The document also enshrines the achievements of the Brazilian presidency throughout the year, such as the Global Alliance against Hunger and Poverty, the Task Force on a Global Mobilization against Climate Change and the Call to Action on Global Governance Reform
